Orientation

New Student, Transfers

OSU Corvallis

OSU's orientation (known as START) is for new students coming to the Corvallis campus — whether a first-year freshman right out of high school, or a transfer students from an institution outside of OSU (like a community college or another college or university).

As part of START, you’ll get an introduction to the College of Business and your first advising consultation as you plan your first-term schedule. You'll also receive your registration PIN number which allows you to register for classes. If you are transferring college credits, you can bring unofficial copies of your transcripts. And if you're a parent or family member of a new student, there's also information about how you can support your new OSU student.

START orientations take place before fall, winter, spring and summer terms. To find out more about START, visit
